Notification of Routine Maintenance Start Time: 16/07/2024 04:00:00 (AEST) - 02:00:00 (AWST) End Time: 16/07/2024 08:00:00 (AEST) - 06:00:00 (AWST)
Purpose of Maintenance: FSG will be performing software upgrades to our networking equipment hardware located in our NEXTDC P2 (NXTP2) POP during the maintenance window. This undertaking is part of FSG's ongoing routine maintenance work to implement vendor recommended software updates of our networking infrastructure. These updates ensure the security and reliability of the service we deliver to our Customers. FSG always indicates a longer maintenance window than required, so that in the rare event of any issues, our engineers can resolve them within the prescribed maintenance window.
Affected Services: - Connectivity to NBN POIs 6BSD; 6CGE; 6KAT; 6MLO; 6PEB; 6SUB - This will affect associated NBN services including: - Connectivity Virtual Circuits (CVC) and attached Access Virtual Circuits (AVC) - Virtual NNIs (VNNI) - Enterprise Ethernet (EE) - Customer NNI services connected at NEXTDC P2 (NXTP2)
Expected Impact: Customers will experience 2 outages of up to 15 minutes each as the maintenance work is being undertaken. The total time the network will be in a hazardous state is estimated to be no more than 4 hours.
Our NOC will monitor this work closely and send an additional advisory should the maintenance be unsuccessful or have to be rolled back.
