Dear Customer,

Due to the challenging ground conditions and a slow cable retrieval process, the fibre crew is experiencing delays.

In order to expedite the resolution, fibres will be temporarily spliced in the tray within the hole.

ETR at this stage is 7:00AM AEST.

Our backhaul provider's technician has found the break location and the cause is due to a tree having been pulled out.

Civil crew is working on exposing the cable.

Our backhaul provider's technician has arrived onsite and has completed the testing. A potential fibre break is located at 23.9KM. The tech is now en route to find the actual break location with an ETE of 90 mins.

Our backhaul provider's initial investigation shows loss of signal alarm due to a suspected fibre break around Elmore region in VIC. Their technician is en route to the site with an ETE of 3 hours for further testing and isolation.
